Paul A Spade started computer programming in 1981 on a Commodore 64 computer before the PC even started to get popular. Owning a heating and air conditioning business, he saw a need for a computerized heat loss calculation program. In 1983 one of the first commercial heat loss calculation programs was marketed nationally. It was reviewed and written up in 4 major business publications.

In 2000, Paul started designing and programming full time for Internet related businesses. Living in beautiful northwest Montana close to Glacier National Park, a major part of PAS Computer's business has to do with marketing the area businesses, such as the nine Championship Golf Courses as well as individual golf courses, travel agency, recreation sites, area building contractors and sub contractors, three log homes manufacturers, real estate sites, non profit organizations, lodging, artists, and other very interesting sites. Photographs

Top quality, reasonably priced photographs of the beautiful Flathead Valley and Glacier National Park were scarce to non existent for the web site clients of PAS Computers. So Paul decided to put his photographic hobby to use and start commercial stock and custom photographic business.

We now have several hundred high quality stock photos of Glacier National park, the Flathead Valley, golf courses, Flathead Lake, Mission Valley and the cities of Northwest Montana as well as numerous other parts of the United States. Stock and custom photographs have been used on websites, brochures. screensavers, mutil-media presentations, prints and news media (The New York Times used a photo of Lake McDonald in an article on the disappearing Glaciers of Glacier Park.)
